As a chief mentor of this film I am really happy with my students and their output. Because when we started to think about this movie they were just amateur students of MAAC GirishPark. Four of them was doing Maya Modelling and the remaining four was doing animation in 3ds Max, even none of them know about any compositing software. But this time I was totally confident to complete the movie using MAYA and Fusion. I never like to run away from any task. I build up their confidence that they have enough quality to achieve the goal. I know that, if you are talented and if you have patience to work hard then we can give you all the help to complete a good movie. We all the mentor trained them in separate section of MAYA and Fusion and carry on with the making of the movie named “Dr’s Love”.  We make them habituated to study more on film making, field studies and related studies for 3D animated movies, like reference creation story boarding, acting, voice recording etc. After completion of preproduction they started modelling in MAYA. Finally they come up with a good show reel of modelling and texturing with all the character of the movie in a very unique concept of presentation. That time they started to believe that if they follow all the instruction and guidance of, they must able to complete the movie with a good quality. Then they started the next section of the movie “Rigging”. But that was not an easy task for a new comer in 3d animation industry. In our story there are 4 animated characters. One of them is a Dog, with a run cycle. For a student that was a complicated part. But they did not afraid. What they learn in yesterday class about rigging, they applied the same technique on the next day on their character for the movie.  That’s why they rig all the character in 3 to 4 times, thereafter they able to come up with the perfectly rigged character after dead line. So they miss the opportunity to submit the rigging reel. But they learn a lot about the complicated part of the rigging throughout this rectification. Parallel with this rigging process they already started the lighting and animation part. At that time they were just learning animation in MAYA. It was the most crucial time because good animation is a vital portion to make a good animated movie. Learning animation in one day and applying them in next day is really hard to have a quality animation still I am happy for their achievements in animation after lots of rectification and our guidance. Lighting section was the positive section for our movie as modelling and texturing was good and we had lots of hope to make the lighting section to a quality level. It is good to see that they actually achieved the quality work although they were very new to MAYA lighting. Next was challenging part for our movie was...Rendering, as our machines was not so much high configured and it is known that it will need much time to complete the rendering but to our help our administrator allotted us a high configured machine which helped my students .I saw them doing rendering day and night to complete it and glad to see their dedication for their work.  Then comes the compositing and editing part where dead line was knocking the door. My students worked hard for compositing the movie and I helped them to my level best as “FUSION” was also new to them. Editing is done in Premiere pro and time was running very fast. For the music was a really tough job as none of them much about sound tracks but they were able to manage a nice track for the movie in time. But after all those hubble and jubble they at last finished the movie and here is “Dr’s Love” for your entertainment. Do see and enjoy this movie not only this is good movie but also it have lot of hard work and dedication of my students.
